How to set up a game of Bubble Football

Growing up in London means football is everywhere whether you enjoy the sport or not.

If being on the field isn’t your thing, think about ‘Bubble Football’ – the craze has taken over the world and doesn’t look like its slowing down anytime soon. It’s August and the sun’s still shining so we want to help you set up a game for you and your friends to enjoy.

If you want to make the experience as authentic as possible, here are the steps to follow.

1. Markers

Setting up your own field will ensure boundaries are kept and will make it easier to determine who kicked the ball out. This way you can also control how big or small you want the field to be – bubble football can be enjoyed by all ages.

You can get an affordable set of markers from Amazon for under £10 here.

2. Goals

The next step would be to get a pair of pop up goals so you can play in your backyard or the local park. These hi-visible fluro ones are really easy to see from across the field – you won’t miss them (we can’t guarantee you’ll score though :p ).

They are also available on Amazon for under £20 here.

3. Referee

You can either nominate one person to referee every game or take turns amongst your group. The referee is there to keep an eye on the action – you’ll be in a giant inflatable bubble of course.

If you want to make the game feel more authentic you can get a referee shirt here.

4. Body Bubble Balls

The most important part of the game is to get the inflatable bubbles themselves! Wicked has the perfect product with their ‘Body Bubble Balls’ available in both red and blue. They’re a great size for both kids and adults and offer a safety harness so you don’t have to worry.

You can get these on Amazon for under £50 each here.

5. Game Time

Once you’ve selected your teams, it’s time for kick off! There are no other rules, you can bash, crash and smash into your friends just for fun.

Have a #Wicked time.
